My partner was supposed to come to lecture on Thursday, where we would talk to the teacher about some stuff.  He didn't show up.  I talked to the teacher about some stuff anyway, then asked if we could have a meeting on Friday to discuss the project outline.  Teacher says sure, no problem, great idea.

Okay, so I email my partner about the meeting, because the teacher didn't (thought he would), and the partner didn't respond.  I ask the teacher three hours before the meeting if we can call it off, because the other student wouldn't be attending, apparently, and I didn't want to waste his time.  Teacher says I should come anyway, if only to talk for 20 minutes.  Partner suddenly sends an email saying there's been a miscommunication and he'll be there, so I email back saying "hey, yeah, let's all meet."

Okay, fast forward to 2:00, the meeting time.  We knock on the dude's door and wait around for half an hour in the hallway.  Teacher doesn't show.  I send him an email, saying "okay, we can meet on Monday then, I guess."  Fast forward to 2 AM that evening, there's still no reply email and I write "man, are you okay?  Starting to worry about you" or whatever.  Fast forward to now.  Still no responses.

*shrug*

Final project is 50% of our grade, LOL, and we never received a grade or anything for our first project (turned in about two months ago) so we've got no feedback or information on how we're supposed to do this.  Cool, right?  Super-great!

Even through I like the idea of reincorporating myself to the lab, I'm kind of sad that my internal medicine rotation is coming to an end. I enjoyed it and genuinely like the people there. Furthermore, my work has been appretiated.

Probably going to drop out of highschool, because of how laws work here. No chance of ever catching up. I do have a good college that would still accept me guaranteed, but who's going to hire some kid who went from AP classes to dropping out?

I thought I had found the best possible potential boyfriend ever.

Turns out she's actually a mtf transsexual, which sort of disappoints me.

Not that it'll stop me, if I can't get 100% perfection then 95% sounds like more than I ever hoped for anyway.

She's pretty much all I ever wanted except a boy.

A few days ago, I was trying to decide if the heat justified installing my air conditioner in case my grandfather (who really can't handle high heat and humidity anymore) visited. Today I had to dig a heater out of the basement because it's approaching freezing tonight.

Those are always fun. Elaborate?

Great uncle died, my maternal grandmother refused to inform my mother and may or may not have lied about him being alive, my maternal grandfather tells me, I tell my mother, she has to tell the rest of the family and is angry my maternal grandmother wouldn't tell her.

In the end nothing might come of it, but my maternal grandmother also doesn't know we know.

Sick again. Went all fall and winter without any real illness, and now in the last three weeks I've had gastroenteritis, thrown my back out, had a mild upper respiratory cold and now have a severe sinus cold. And worse, I apparently gave it to my love (or got it from her...hard to tell).

If you had no immune system then the virus would just burst all of your cells with no effects but your painful death from probably blood loss.

Wouldn't the painful death come from hemorrhaging since the skin would be able to hold up whereas the organs would not?
