And you too! I feel loved <3
Slight transliteration derail:

Wouldn't "Ανδ τηεν τηερε ωερε νονε" be better fit by "Ανδ θεν θερε ωερε νονε"?

"Ahnd tehen tehere ohere non" vs "Ahnd then there ohere non"? Though it's not the same sound as English would allow for, it's a little closer? I don't know, I always seem confused by greek-to-english transliteration anyway.

I didn't really go for accuracy when I wrote it, but I'll use your fix because it makes more sense.
*kindly thanks you*

I worry about my friend who apparently is keeping bottles of vodka in her possession.  I realize this may be a little bit weird to worry about, but she's previously said things that had a vaguely "hi, I'm moving towards being an alcoholic" flavor.

Maybe I'm just worrying because I've found out about a few of my other friends having Issues with alcohol recently.

Just finished watching Serenity.  Finally find a decent TV show to watch that is less then a decade old, and it only has 14 episodes and a movie.

If you're going for greek transliterations of exactly how that sounds, there might be a little trouble there. That said, I'd probably write 'and then there were none' as 'αντ δεν δαιρ ουερ νουν'. It sorta comes out in a weird Scottish accent (ant then therr ooer noon) due to a lack of perfectly matched sounds. At the very least, the 'th's in then and there should be deltas (the 'soft' th, as in bathe, there, brothel etc.) rather than thitas (the 'hard' th, as in thick, thought, thrust.)

Yeah, Blargityblarg's looks more accurate than mine in retrospect. I didn't get very far in my Greek course.

Try Battlestar Galactica, perhaps? (The new one) I watched that and enjoyed it about the same as Firefly, at least through the first season.

I can't understand the concept of hating someone because they don't share your interests. I can't understand the concept of hating someone for... much any reasons, really, except utter vitriol coming out of their person.

Pnx

Whether or not someone likes the things I like, or likes something I don't like really doesn't say much about them as a character.

Alternatively, I could suggest checking out Star Trek: Deep Space Nine if you liked Firefly. Even if you're not a Trekkie.

It's not traditional Star Trek, with the sailing around space investigating anomalies and being big damn laser-toting heroes. It's more of a sci-fi drama, set on a junky old space station on the border of Cardassian and Federation space, orbiting a planet which recently freed themselves from Cardassian rule. There's a fair bit of intrigue, and great cast of characters with neat stories, and plenty of morally-grey territory to explore. I'm only on the second season, but I'm enjoying it a lot. The last few episodes in Season 1 really sold me.

A few scenes would probably sell the series better than I could, though:
Come to Quark's! Quark's is Fun!
A Dispassionate Historical Perspective.
I just don't do faces very well.
I'd hardly call 3 centimeters 'chaos'.
Nobody here but us Koberians.
Too zesty?

I wish English were more flexible.  There are a lot of words I'd really like to import from French, like "convener" and "rapprochement" (to be convenient and a growing-closer-together, respectively), because I use these concepts almost constantly in my essays and it'd really help to have a single word for either.
