I've got a pretty good idea who will be taking care of that little problem :D

Yes, yes. Vector is actually a sentient starfish aiming for a Ph.D. in mathematics. Parthenogenesis is the way of the beast.

So I'm not the only one who keeps seeing it as a bird? Specifically a budgerigar for me.

Welp, if you's offended I assumed you to be a dude, my apologies. Though really, (@everyone), seems silly to worry about gender on the internet.

I thought I was doing so well yet apparently not. Everything's pointless and sucks, now disregard this post.
I'm going to disappoint you by bringing your post back up.

Mmm, it only feels like a waste because you've convinced yourself, (or been convinced by popular culture), that those activities are wasteful. I contend they're about as wasteful as reading a book, (though it depends on the game...some are like reading children's books), which really isn't very wasteful at all. You get cultured, and learn knowledge 'bout tons of things, and it's ridiculous when you run into people that just don't know things you've known for ages because you were exposed to it through this interactive medium.
Not everything's going to have a concrete product, nor should it have, and you should stop measuring your actions in your own damn free time against society's arbitrary expectations. Which, btw, are (again) a construct of your own perceptions.
Also: if you really want to change, start making an effort to recognize when you're partaking in behaviors you want to change, and then interrupt them. Keep the practice up, and voila, you've changed your behavior.

I (mostly) blame the lack of gender neutral pronouns in English.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

My gender-neutral pronoun of choice from now on shall be "shit".
