WTF is wrong with people that they have enough time and energy to devote to bullshit like that?

I saw someone instagram their meal for the first time today. I was hoping that it was a joke and didn't exist.

I can understand trolling religious or political websites that you don't agree with, but come on.
All of us are adults mature. We are all just a buncha guys/girls who like/d playing DF at some point (Possibly now).
And I would say that we are above average in terms of internet fucktards not existing.
This is probably because Toady is on the ball as well.

Back in February, I ordered my first new pairs of glasses in 8 years. Although extremely annoyed at the excessive wait time, I was able to order frames that weren't too different from what I had (there were only two types on the bargain rack. The type derisively referred to as "Granny Glasses", and the sort of low profile ones I mostly prefer anyway, although the cheap ones were somewhat less substantial than I would like), although the lenses were slightly smaller.

I finally recieved them today. Turns out that the display frames were extremely stretched out, and belonged in the kid's section. While they do actually fit, they're enough too small that it's a slight annoyance, and look slightly off. The worst part is that they're so much better than my outdated lenses as far as fitting my eyes that I can't not wear them. Fortunately, we're expecting to get optical insurance in the new contract in July, so I'll probably be able to get better ones then.

I see it all the time here.

If they're not taking pics of their faces or the places, they're taking pics of meals and posting it on facebook.

Same here, I'd like to know.

Someone spammed 30 threads of bad shock picks, poorly spelled insults, poorly spelled sexual insults, and quite a lot of hate against Toady.

Bahahahaha! So basically we had a sub-standard griefer or griefers. That must have been fun.

I see it all the time here.

What really gets me is how much attention a person can get for posting a picture of food.  It seems so inane, but then half the population of the planet chimes in on how that does or doesn't look good to them and how they're hungry now and they ate something like that once and it was ok or nitpick critiques about how the food item could have been made better/etc/etc/etc.  I guess I just don't understand why food is such an interesting conversation topic to some people.  Give me my Soylent, already.
