What, were you at a high school party or something? Everyone in a decent party should know some people going to grad school.

I was the only undergrad at a grad student party thrown by a minister in training.  I did not enjoy myself all that much because I just sort of felt like being myself at this party was not at all indicated.  There was nothing to do, for example, but sit around and tell vaguely mean and embarrassing stories about each other, and when I tried to be kind and teasy I got rebuked (because my social skills are interesting enough that folks freely give me direction nowadays, which gets a bit tiring).

It did feel like high school.

I cant feel a value to anything anymore.
Only things that makes me chemically happy, such as choclate makes me happy.

The internet keeps me alive by making me forget that. I have already explained my circumstances.
If i move, i wont be able afford internet.

I wont survive under theese rules much anymore.

I want to put it all to rest but i just cant. My body restrains me from doing it.
I cant sleep in daytime, i cant lie still, i freeze and freeze and freeze.

Nobody understands me at all.

For fucks sake, all i want is the internet so i can keep myself sane so i can spare my family and friends from the grief.

I'm seeing very little appeal in most of these April Fools jokes... I think I am getting old and bitter.  :(
I'm too young and open to stupidity to be old and bitter!

It really just boils down to effort

No one puts any effort into april fools jokes and the result is that you have to spend an entire day with really terrible jokes that were NEVER funny but that people suddenly think are.

So you get something like "Ohh this topic is worthwhile yo!... No wait APRIL FOOLS!" or "Ha! you thought that was a link but really it was just a link to a meme everyone fake links! APRIL FOOLS!"

The Dwarf Fortress Kickstarter is the BEST example... Had they went the distance and created a full Dwarf Fortress fake kickstarter page, it would have been hillarious.

But no... it is just a broken link... the hillarity is bursting at the seams of the "meh" that was thrown at us.

Well, I do like Blizzards attempts by putting the Warhound back into StarCraft II... It is actually some what hilarious to watch beyond the initial joke.

Almost like putting effort into an April fools day joke SOMEHOW makes it better.

Remember when they had the giant Terran Mech or when they made Decard Kain a character? Those were also funny.

Ugh, got an hour and a half into cleaning my room and stopped because its depressing.

I might end up skipping dinner again because no one feels like cooking stuff. And if I buy anything that doesn't need much cooking it gets eaten before I come home from work the next day.
