I've found myself seriously contemplating how long I could make my savings stretch if I simply quit working. It's not even that my job is terrible, but I'm just in a mood where spending even a single second not doing something that I actually want to be doing is almost physically painful. I'm there right now.  That policy I've been complaining about?  I just learned Friday that they put it into effect earlier in the main office.  That location is now severely understaffed.  So apparently the executives fully intend to follow through and sabotage their own operation out of whatever stubborn or mean streak has possessed them lately.  After the nightmare that place has been this past year, this has just got my hatred boiling over so much that I spend every second on the clock thinking about how much I want to leave.  The thought of going back tomorrow has cast dread on me all day.
