Books are created faster than any human can read.
Books are written slower than all the humans could read. One hive mind, all dedicated to reading, all sharing information on what has been read. Soon humanity would catch up to all the books. All of them.
But wouldn't the hivemind already know what's in the book, since it was the one that wrote it?
Only the ones written after the hivemind was established.

THIS HIVEMIND WAS CALLED INTERNET

I've got a cold. I look like a gothic protagonist and I have a blocked nose. Dammit.

I do this every time I have a midterm/exam. I stress myself out and get really pissed off at myself. I can always find things I don't like about myself, but it always ends up coming back to the fact that my ground state is unhappy. While I'm doing things I'm fine, but when I have time with nothing to do I revert to feeling bad for myself.

The worst thing is I know I have no real reason to be upset like this, but that doesn't mean I can change it.

Man, this forum makes me sad.
Or rather, my participation in it. Whenever I post anything I worry that what I posted was stupid and didn't and anything and just wasted everyone’s time.
Even now I'm probably just imposing on this thread.
This is a stupid cry for attention.
Why am I so terrible.
Why do I make such obvious pleas for compliments?
This is stupid.

The thing is, it's basically impossible to impose on one of these threads.
So you're good; don't feel ashamed of yourself.

Blargh. It's more just a part of a similar feeling that I've been experiencing about my life.

Aw.
Just realised I missed St Patrick's Day.
And then I realised I would've had no-one to get drunk with anyways. :( Oh well.

Just dye your beer the next colour in the spectrum. 7 colours in the rainbow, 7 days in a week. Clearly not a coincidence.

There needs to be a "Week of Ethnic Stereotype Drinking Holidays". I move that we change Cinco de Mayo to March 20th to facilitiate this. And then not change the name.

Ideas:

Lebensraum Day (traditional fare is Czech lager, Polish sausage, French bread, cheese Danish and then you claim that all of them are actually German and you're just protecting their heritage)

English Hoolie Day (all-day alefest, followed by the ceremonial soccer riot)

L'abandonner Day (spend all day offering cheese and wine to random strangers in the hope that they won't hit you, while wearing a monkey suit)

AMERICA FUCK YEAH DAY (Note: holiday must always be capitalized, and preferably shouted at the top of the lungs. Typically while slugging back a case of special red, white and blue Budweiser.)

Hoser Day (Sit around politely getting drunk on Molson or Labatt and watching hockey. NOTE: This holiday is celebrated 365 times a year in Canada.)  :P

Football hooligans dont drink Ale, only West Country farmers drink Ale, and only when pies are also available.
