Pff. If all of Wales is logged in. Who's tending to the sheep? And /tending/ to the sheep too?

I thought the New Zealanders were doing that?

Not me, I am busy mining coal, eating various bits of fried seaweed and building coracles whilst singing in a ringing baritone about rugby victories over the English.

Daffodils grow fucking everywhere with no tending anyway. You seen roundabouts and motorway verges here? FUCKING DAFFODILS EVERYWHERE!

Just popping in to say, that this is the sad thread, and that it might be best to possibly move this off-topic conversation to the happy thread, or another more appropriate place?

This, to the nth degree. Here's the relevant link.

What the flying fuck.

There are old rail lines all over Indiana.  Seriously, they're everywhere.  Even really small towns are criss-crossed by multiples of them.  I've talked to locals old enough to remember when they were operating, and how the automotive industry destroyed them.  I didn't even know this was considered a conspiracy theory.

Cincinnati has a bunch of them. Every once in a while they consider bringing them back, everyone in the city goes "That would be great!" and then they don't do it.

Since it's an actual conspiracy, I feel the term "conspiracy theory" might be a bit... Unfitting ;)

That's like Melbourne, there's old embankments and semi-existent stations everywhere. We have half the lines we had fifty years ago and our city's several times bigger.

Also, 9am - 6pm day at uni today, forgot how tiring they were. (This does not include the two hours travel either way.) Also, my train was delayed, so I got home at 9:30, my bedtime on days when I have 9am classes. Urg.

I get up at 8:30 for my 8:45 classes :D

So, yeah. Sucks to not be able to do that I guess. Had travel time of 1h15m for the first half if this year.

Not counting walking house -> bus stop / house -> station and station -> uni, it's about 2hr for me on a good day...

bluh bluh

I'm sick and I've got a whoooole lot of work to do.  On the other hand, I did get to blow up a house with an ion cannon yesterday.
