If we're weighing in on teeth, I can say that I got recommended a brace when I was younger, which would have involved one of my teeth being taken out. I refused. At the moment, one of my bottom front teeth is a bit squiff, but it doesn't bother me and it doesn't hurt. All in all I think my (cowardly) decision has turned out for the best. :P

I guess some dentists are greedy, but generally speaking, the earlier you have braces or equivalent, the better it is for you (if you need it, ofc).

No, FJ got muted.
I would reccomend not speaking about it. And to my knowledge, it did not occur in that thread. All is peaceful there.

EDIT: Searching has indicated that a number of comments that lead to the incident were, in fact, in the thread, but the straw that broke the camel's back is thought to not be.

It was FJ still not actually realizing what he was posting or being incredibly dense. There was on top of that people bringing attention to it. But yeah it's probally best we don't talk about it too much. Pretty much all the posts are gone so toady already did cleanup.

What happened, exactly?

FJ posting more of his either intentionally creepy or misguided and creepy crap. Seriously like, every post that guy's made has made me feel uncomfortable. I'm sure some others agree too given he's apparently been warned before.

My attempts at giving up caffeine have gone awry.  It went great at first, as I previously reported.  I felt really crappy for a few days, and then I seemed to get over it.  I had lots of energy for a few days afterwards.  Too much, actually.  I thought my dependency was over, and to great effect.  But then the last week or so, I've been completely dead all day no matter how much sleep I get.  Slept almost completely through this past weekend.  Been half asleep/repeatedly dozing off all through every day at work.  I gave in today and had some coffee.  Bleh.  I feel better, except for the failure.

I was pretty lucky to have been born with some pretty damn nice teeth as a kid, never had any teeth issues. Although the dentist always got on my ass to floss.

*beats up Bdthemag for his teeth*

btw sorry to hear about the kitty ;_;

My wisdom teeth surprisingly did not hurt, although this might be attributed to my rampant positivism giving me some sort of natural resistance to pointless pains. :P
