Australia is like nega-Canada.

Other side of the world, cold not hot, full of deadly critters unlike us (We got like... moose. And bears. das it)

But also fairly polite people, funny accent (according to dem Yanks at least), and we got a queen.

I can't remember the last time Canada had a national disaster of any magnitude. >_>
Polar bears. As differentated from other bears.

Doesn't canada have, um. Storms? Must be some storms. Earthquakes?

Most of Canada is on an old-rock shield. The major areas are not tectonically active, MAYBE Vancouver but I haven't heard of any earthquakes there.

The storms, well, we've had a few blizzards in our time, and there was that outage in ... 2003? Lasted a few days.

But we're basically solid. One year in Canada is pretty much like any other year.

One year in Australia is pretty much the same as the last two years, in that we seem to have this Fibonacci sequence of catastrophic events that increases on an annual basis. Next year will be worse, and the year after that even worse.

Won't somebody think of the deadly snakes?

Eventually there's going to be a fuckhuge earthquake in the Vancouver area, though. Like soon.

I'm getting nostalgic over a era in which I wasn't ever alive. God, I wish I could travel back and visit Studio 54 in '78

My internet subsciption us up, and.... I just can't pay it. It's a yearly subscription, and I don't have the money to pay it, and won't for at least a month.

Till then, I'm stuck on my phone.

Sony plans to monitor a game's loading time to check wherether or not it's pirated. There's no way this can go wrong.

Dentist appointment tomorrow. Might have dental extraction in preparation for orthodontic braces. Will most definitely have braces. :(

Hello, constant pain. ;_;

I also have phobia of dentistry.

Ooh. For consoles. Yeah, that makes it slightly less hilariously stupid.

... only slightly. I... I don't think I've seen a cracked game that had a faster loading time, of all things. Now I'm wondering if that's become common in recent years or somethin'.

Do note, that as stated in the article, replacing the hard drive or having a damaged disc/ reader will increase read times.

A search for a teenager who was missing in my area has been called off after they found a body. A lot of my friends knew him really well and, despite me not knowing him, I don't need to to feel so bad for everyone involved.  :(

That's why Sony intends to severely limit it's own download speeds, making the pirated versions faster.

Watch it actually happen.
