Is Gravity Falls any good? I have spoken to a guy who did some of the animation for an episode and he says its great, but he is one weird guy...

Well, your weird friend knows what he's talking about, because it's quite good :D

I haven't seen it but I heard there's a reference to Homestuck's Dave and Bro's rooftop duels put into in that arcade episode.

Ex girlfriend can't take a hint. When I say "wanna talk", I don't mean continue the conversation we are having via text. I want to call you. She then avoids talking to me in either circumstance. She disappoints me.

Probably some coincidence rather than a reference. I don't see it listed in the gravity falls wiki for references for that episode (though to be honest, the wiki's missing a lot of references from that episode).

2 energy drinks and 6 and a half hours of dubstep later, I still have 7 math problems to finish before Wednesday morning, and I work tomorrow. Fucknuggets.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

My school doesn't offer AP, along with 99% of all other schools in Korea. I don't fulfill the requirements for getting into a foreigner school that does offer AP (namely either being filthy rich or being a US citizen), but I do want to go to a US college. :P
I have to choose which AP tests I can reasonably study for in the time left, excluding Physics B, which I went to a hakwon(cram) to brush up on it.
Thinking of CS, Economics, and Environmental Science :/ Wanted to take Bio, but they say that it's going to change radically this year... Hngh. Dx

Did you ever figure out which US school you wanted to go to?

Just a decent CS school, and hope for Stanford as my Master's degree school.

http://shine.yahoo.com/parenting/indiana-anti-gay-prom-plan-sparks-backlash-173857067.html

Quote
Local WTWO-TV news coverage of the meeting zeroed in on Diana Medley (pictured above), a special education teacher at the nearby Union Junior/Senior High School, who didn’t hold back when asked about the issue of gay couples at the prom.

“We don’t agree with it. It’s offensive to us,” she told a reporter, who then asked Medley if she thought that gays had any purpose in life. “No I honestly don’t,” she said, smiling. “Sorry, but I don’t. I don’t understand it.”

No purpose in life.... Wow. That's a teacher... saying an entire category of her students have no purpose in life....
I should rather have no purpose to my life than no empathy or compassion towards those who have never harmed me. I can seek, and dare I hope find a purpose.

Quote
Still, Indiana is not one of the 23 states in the nation with laws barring discrimination based on sexual orientation, he added, “And it definitely doesn’t have any in regard to protecting students.” Fifteen states, including Illinois, Iowa and New York, have anti-bullying laws that specifically protect gay and lesbian students.

Yeah.... :(.

Yeah, I heard about that.

Of course, it just means she's advocating teenage pregnancy.

I assume you can see the logic.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Not that I believe there's a "purpose" to life, we're just here and we make of it what we can. Just so happens that we've made awesome shit with out purposeless lives~
