Yeah, I want to get there, eventually. You can access the doctorate system as early as the 3rd year into the residency. That aside, in 4 months I re-join my own department, which will end this kind of unpleasantness (and bring forth entirely new ones But hey! microscopes!).

Welp, that's the second relationship that ended pretty much right before Valentine's Day.
