Ok so the grammatically correct way to quote Death would be
HUMAN BEINGS MAKE LIFE SO INTERESTING. DO YOU KNOW, THAT IN A UNIVERSE SO FULL OF WONDERS, THEY HAVE MANAGED TO INVENT BOREDOM.
~ Death

Also note the lack of quotations.

*hoping to go to sleep at a decent hour*
*house owners come for overnight stay*
*promptly turn on fuckoff huge TV with fuckyoutoosir loud speakers* *
*so much for goddamn sleep*
I wanted to sleep :'(

*Even if I block out the sound, the bass is enough to make me vibrate through the walls. Less than 48 hours of cold, quiet, bliss. Now it's back to >70 and too-loud-to-sleep.**
**Eye on the prize, they're going back to other-house sometime tomorrow morning and probably not coming back before I run out of food. Week and a half, week and a half, week and a half of no fucking TV and AC set at 65F and lower.

I am so, so, so incredibly jealous of Kansas City having Google Fiber. I need it. I need the speed! Hurry the fuck up and make it a nationwide plan Google, you already know it's going to work!

For a second there I forgot what this was and imagined that Google come up with a program to assist the residents of Kansas City with their bowel movements.

I think I figured out what love is. Not from experience, just thinking about it.

What a terrible burden you all bear.

Sad: I think the Chryssalids in the new XCOM game are weak imitations of the original monsters. They infect humans still, but those humans automatically hatch the next turn, instead of using the human as a suit of armor until it reaches your lines. When hatched, they're weakly armored and prone to getting shot down instantly. Old Chryssalids just started tearing humans in half straight from birth. And they would basically always kill a human in close combat, too! These new ones kind of suck at fighting. My assault soldiers can regularly beat them back from point-blank range.

I miss the tension brought about by certain doom.

In other news: Holy crap, I saw the trailer for the 'World War Z' movie in the previews of another movie at the theater today. It's not just an average zombie action movie. It's a goddamn terrible-looking zombie action movie. There are zombies! They're fast! They're so fast they can levitate, form into writhing cylinders, and grope and flail hilariously at a wall! And only Brad Pitt and his terrible haircut can save the world. AND HIS FAMLEH. It actually looks worse than the I, Robot adaptation. At least that one was a good movie while ignoring most of I, Robot's plot and characters. This one looks like it's both ignoring the source and terrible. I guess I'll wait and see, but I can't help feeling disappointed. That was one of my favorite books.

It has to do more Barbarossa that the Cryssalids are based off of new creatures now

The Old ones were based sort of off the Aliens from Aliens

The new ones are based off of the Zergs.

Also yeah I think the old ones were much more frieghtening. The new ones kinda feel like cannon fodder after a while.

Everything from Hollywood these days disappoints me: flatmate wanted to watch the new Total Recall movie, so I d'l'd it. I want my 118 minutes back!
