I don't think I've pissed someone off enough to potentially ruin a friendship before.
I feel your pain :(  I've done that... well I've actually ruined a friendship or two because of bad judgement.  It hurts.  The healing process is slow and painful too.  But there is hope.

Damn... I really suck at games today... trying to take a day off and play some stuff... but I'm getting my ass kicked in everything I try, and not having much fun.

I tried that earlier... I was rather disappointed with it.  It just felt really clumsy.  The camera is really twitchy and disorienting.  Blocking is insanely hard, which seemed to turn the game into a spam fest.  Even with a shield, attacks almost always went straight through.  Didn't help that the animations seemed really jerky, too.  So hard to track the enemy's movement.  And attacks looked decently fast, except there was some sort of delay between when you clicked to attack and when the animation would actually begin.  Threw me way off.

I'm sure those are things I'd get used to, eventually, but I'm not a fan of difficulty originating from unpolished controls.  Overall, Mount & Blade's combat is not quite as deep, but way more intuitive and satisfying.

I'm not very good at it either. The solution for that is practice. Fail until you stop failing. I've already started not dying so quickly and often, and actually hitting poeple. Third person helps.

Although, I can't get money onto my steam account for a week to purchase it, and the sale ends today.

You misread me. I said I am very good at it. I've got all the helmets and all the weapons unlocked.

I used to have my social security number memorized.  Suddenly when I needed it I couldn't remember the first few digits and I couldn't figure out how I forgot it.  That made me very sad for some reason.

Also a WTF here since it's related, when I did check my SS number to memorize it again I think I figured out how I forgot it.  The first two sections of my SS number are almost identical (only one different digit) to a very important yet completely unrelated number I had to memorize at work. WTF fate.

I picked that up not too long ago, but haven't played it yet.  I looked at it briefly, but couldn't figure out anything.

Major reason I'm so frustrated is kids are being really unreasonably demanding today.
