Meh, I remember when signavatar was unique. Once everyone started using it became lame and annoying.

I've got a problem with the BBC online radio app. It's fine when playing shorter programs, like half hour comedy episodes, but I think it fails with longer ones. Specifically, I tried to listen to the first hour or so of the first Test day between India and England (which was 8 hours long), and it said that "media connection request failed." Fine, then, I said, I'll listen to some Australian Twenty20, which is only three hours per program, and it gave me "The playlist contains invalid data; after filtering out invalid media and connection objects, there are no connections left".

What do I do?

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

There's something burnin' inside me...

... and it's not a hunka hunka love. Reflux is really rather annoying. I want to drink sodas, damn you physiology! But no. Lately, when I do that, my digestive acids try to come out and play with my uvula. Which makes it either hard to sleep or freaking miserable waking up.

Starting to look like there's going to be yet another set of consumables I can, well, no long consume. As the years go by, I seem to be less and less capable of eating/drinking things :-\

Why not use an antiacid?

Fie on thee, drug pusher! Take your trick turning back to the street corner where it belongs.

... seriously though CP, aren't you in the medical biz to some degree? Isn't the whole "treat the symptom instead of the cause" like... bad methodology? Really bad? Especially when there's a clear cut causal link and a means of prevention that's both simple and effective?

Would... would that work?

Actually, now you're making me wonder if flat sodas have the same effect as, well, not-flat ones. 'Cause if I can boil the reflux trigger out of the stuff I don't think I'd mind having to do that. I actually kinda' like the taste of flat sodas.
