Yeah, any carbonated beverage is still acidic. 'Carbonated' means it has carbonic acid, which is what gives it the bubbles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbonated_water

I really try to minimize soda intake, cause carbonation is hell on acid reflux. All them bubbles lift your diaphragm, which lets the top of your stomach poke through the diaphragm where it's supposed to be pinched off. Next thing you know, your stomach acid is busy digesting your throat (along with the carbolic acid and citric acid in the soda).

In sad news, I just remembered that New Year's is generally a cause for celebration. Like it actually didn't cross my mind until I read the New Year's thread. Welp, guess my New Year's party is gonna be a couple beers and Mount & Blade.
