I just realized I was going to work out today, which is actually kinda unsafe to do when I'm sleep deprived.  Maybe I'll wait for breakfast to wear off then just do some cardio and play it safe.

I'm horribly sick, everything hurts and I'm dizzy as fuck.

Doesn't help that it's a challenge every time I try to swallow anything.

I don't think I'd mind terribly if someone barged into my home and shot me right now.

Suddenly overwhelmingly depressed. Don't know why.

Feel like I'm very worried about something, but I don't know what.

Might be a premonition about bad things happening. Any history of psychic powers in your family?

Not any that I believe in. I've been off prozac for a while now, so I'm going to chalk it up to that.

Maybe it's both. I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that prozac suppresses psychic powers.

Saw my grandmother today.  She seems to be doing really well.  Healthy and happy.  Has a lot of years left in her, I think.

News about the rest of the family isn't so great, though.  Several family lynchpins passed away in a short period a few years ago, and it sounds like things are unraveling badly up there.  (Context:  My immediate family are the only ones out of a very large family who left Wisconsin)

The worst: My cousin got married a few years ago, shortly before the string of elder deaths.  He found a great spouse and they both had good jobs, a nice place, and lots of family support around.  The last time I saw him was at his wedding.  I just learned tonight that he developed gambling, drinking, and anger issues and became severely abusive.  His wife was forced to leave him and he recently tried to kill himself.  Nobody understand what the hell happened.  He's one of the last people I would have expected to screw up his life that way.

I see so many families collapsing all around me, both friends and relatives.  I'm gritting my teeth and forcing my own way through a life I'm very unhappy with and doesn't seem to be going anywhere, but I have to admit, depressingly, that I'm still doing better than most just by keeping things level.

My braces are on. This hurts a bit, and for the next few days, every meal will probably cause agonizing pain.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.
