That depends. A good lay will last for at most a couple hours (and possibly a night + morning of cuddling); a good dog will last for years.

Naturally that assumes that you're just out looking for one-night-stands.
Yes, but you always have the same old dog.

Also, because of various attacks, I'm not really fond of dogs.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

small dogs are good too.

Okay, let me just say "Getting laid is way better than dogs." There, end of discussion. Carry on with other nonsense. :P
Can't argue with ya there. or so I've been told.  :'( .

I meant in terms of friendship. Platonic like.

Personally, I'd taking cuddling with someone I cared about over getting laid. Sex has (pardon the pun) never been a big turn-on for me, at least not nearly as much as simple physical affection/contact.

Sort of this. Sex is just cuddling taken to 11 for me. It can be either platonic OR romantic affection.

But I got 0 physical contact with anyone. For now. :(

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I also understand this sentiment. Being romnantically alone sucks.

However Kaijyuu, there is no one who can remedy that but you.

For once in, what, two years? I took a long look at myself in a mirror. I have a BAD tan line from my elbow to my shoulder, and even then I'm constantly hunched over from slouching all the time. I'm starting to get a bump on my stomach and generally I can't even crouch down without feeling like I'm getting a charlie-horse. Goddamnit, I'm so out of shape. At this rate, I'd have to drastically change my routine to be like an average joe, which would make me even unhappier.  :'(

I know, and I'm working on it. I'll be moving out within a month, hopefully (and if not, within two months for sure).

I feel lonely.
I had a girlfriend, then she moved away and we decided that breaking up was better for us both than a long distance relationship.
When I say we decided it was better for us both, I mean I knew it was better for her and that I was going to get all depressed and lonely, and now here I am.

This made me sad.  I had a period  a bit back when I thought anything short of money laundering and treason were okay on this site.
