I'm a sadist. I enjoy hurting people. Don't judge me bro, just because I enjoy making people hurt doesn't mean I do it.
No victim no crime to me, bro.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

~ Proooooud to beeee an Ameeericaaaaaaaan...

But seriously, this shit is what makes being optimistic about our future really challenging. Someone poses a charged but entirely reasonable question. Audience boos and shouts "USA! USA!" as though it was an answer. Presidential candidate squirms at podium and continues through his canned speech, vacant behind his smiling mask, as though incapable of registering anything that just happened.

This is like the distilled form of everything that embarrasses and exasperates me about my nation.

EDIT: Also relevant.

Minor sad, more like a "Aww :<" than anything: My violin tutor commented that though my reading speed and note accuracy were pretty OK, my pose looked like those actors in dramas that got a crash course in (and thus were bad/awkward at) violin posture xD

On other news, I have found that Jesus's economic effect is at least $ 55 billion.

and you wonder why the church complains about tax exemption :P

For violins i never could my posture right (considering i barely play that) and my piano posture is down right horrible.....
yet i continue my path of music ingenuity.

I loved Serenity. Especially that one little tune at the start of the movie.

Don't worry, people do it all the time.

In fact, I think the people pointing it out pissed Derm off even more.

Heh. Just about anything in there that isn't a normal post-quote will annoy derm. For good reason, admittedly. No worries.
