Thanks solifuge, for stepping in.

But yeah, take things like this to IRC, as they're not part of the topic.

I lost an earring today.

That's why, when I used to wear earrings, I wore CBRs.

Just one of those ones that's a little ring with a ball? They're good dude earrings but I think they're a bit too boring, personally.

This. I need something else to keep me from being productive.

There isn't a bay12 irc channel? And here I thought I was just being left out and uninvited to the clubhouse :P

New topic to set one up, then?

I think the most B12ers use some sort of obscure radio-related channel... Thats all i can get from the OOC thread.

Apparently they're #bay12games, #df, #dwarffortress, but I don't see anyone on them right now.

Are you on the right network? Because #Bay12Games is usually pretty crowded.

I don't really like my love life at the moment.  There's the friend-without-benefits-anymore that I'm trying desperately not to develop feelings for (again) both for her sake and mine (her sake because she doesn't feel that way about me, and my sake because I know it really just isn't a good idea for me to get together with another bipolar girl), and then there's the "practical" choice who, although less exciting, I know would probably be better(read: healthier) for me.  And she at least I know is interested.

Unfortunately, she also wants to take things slow.  And by that I mean we haven't seen each other for almost two months now.

And I'm not exactly doing a good job of broadening my horizons either, due to a non-existent social presence from a lifetime of non-training and non-experience.  Also because pretty much the only places to socialize around here are bars and nightclubs on the weekend.  And I absolutely hate bars and nightclubs on the weekend.

I also haven't written my CV yet.  Something I should've done at least a month ago, if not two (if not quite a long time ago, for that matter).  Basically, I'm just not doing anything.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me why I hate chatrooms.  There are always a significantly higher number of assholes than on forums themselves.
