Minor grammatical errors aside...

Why are we talking in badly imitated foreign languages again?
Because today is Cephalopod day, Ok?

This thread now confuses me.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Isn't that a common  misconception?

BTW, @Kai: Berliner is said to mean jelly donut. Not someone from Berlin. But I think it's a myth.

Just learned today that two awesome friends just broke up.  They were "taking a break", and now they're done.  She didn't want to be in a monogamous relationship anymore.  He is the nicest guy I've ever known and really loved her.

They were among the few people that we went out of our way to hang out with regularly.  My wife being the paranoid jealous that she is, this is going to politicize and complicate efforts to remain friends with them sooooo much....

I like Berliners then.

@Salmon: He didn't want an open relationship and she did, then? Mmm. Bad situation all around :(

It's simply a "LOL Kennedy is such a moron" joke made back in the day that grew legs. It has absolutely zero validity.

Allow me to explain, for I've been possessed by a mood most fey.

But first we shall replay; of what has occurred per-se;

Ok maybe not, but you see before you throw at me a tray or a yellow bowl of milk whey, do understand that I did this for the sake of word play. At the very least you can rejoice! Shout hooray! I might "promise" not to do this again... Well, maybe at least not for the Bay...

I'm not really sure yet what happened.  I think she's just too much of a free spirited person in general.  She's an adventurer.  Likes things to constantly change.  They'd been together for years, and she always said he was the best guy ever and they were set for life... but I think she just got bored.
