I was at a mate's house today, and a couple of other friends were there too. We've all been good friends since primary school, and I guess today more than ever I realised we are really moving apart. I know that happens, people change blah blah, and it wasn't awkward or anything, I just didn't feel as comfortable with them as our interests differ considerably now.

It also drove home I really need to make more friends at my own school. I know everyone in my grade and (from what I can tell :p) I am a likeable person, I just find it incredibly difficult to get to that 'friend' stage. It also doesn't help that I can't find anyone with similar interests to me, because I'm sort of lonely right now and the one thing I want is someone I can discuss my interests with without being awkward or boring the shit out of them.
But yeah, I guess that's all standard introvert-y stuff, I just felt I had to vent a bit.
