Descan can beat me to it. Though I'd prefer something else...

EDIT: The music, I mean. D:

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Water is an extremely poor lubricant. It leaves little things called microtears when you uh, do the deed in water. The more you know...
Just forgo any of it until you get blood. Blood is the best lube. Blood and the tears of my enemies.

What about the lamentation of their women?
The only thing they lament is not meeting me earlier.
Can I zing it? I can! I can zing it!
Spoiler: They lament because (click to show/hide)
I jest, of course, and mean none of it. But it had to be, uh. Zung? Zinged? Zing'd?

It will be okay, Euld. You can't pick your family, but you can choose how to deal with them.

I think I'm going to have to include that in my book, because that is just the kind of rediculously masculine and hilariously appropriate thing the American Fire Elemental would say.

"To rend their flesh, burn their crops, and hear the cries of their women!"
Seth looked at him. "Isn't it 'lementations'?"
Frost looked sideways at his grimy friend. "Naw, the only thing they lament is not meetin' me earlier." Seth smacked his face with his palm while Junk nodded her agreement.

A rough draft.

I think the proper term is zing. It's like moose, you don't change it. Except it's a verb... So it's not like moose at all. Is moose a verb? Can you moose things?

As someone with some small amount of Native American blood in them, I find that joke utterly hilarious...

Also, I believe coming out to apple pie was due to not liking anal sex being like not liking apple pie - it's sad because it is so good and the person will never understand.
