Dammit, all this coming out talk reminds me. I blew a chance to come out recently. I was staying at my grandmother's, and was thinking "Should I or shouldn't I", and my mental response was always "Not now, wait a little bit". I'm saying I considered coming out to my grandmother, because she's actually rather progressive for somebody her age, and I really trust her (Hell, she and my grandfather practically raised me for the first eleven years of my life). But dammit, dammit, dammit.

Same way, but I know it's because I've never had much proper romantic interaction with the less-clicky gender (as opposed to impassioned but purely physical decadence, which is... still rather limited).

But I am absolutely sure that's just my own experience-based judgement taking over - the same reason people's "type" changes so severely based on who they last dated. There's a lot of mental goings on that influence /who/ we find attractive - you could still be into women, but since none of the women you encounter are men (your current mental standard) its hard to see them as your type or even as desirable.

Or something? I dunno.

I think "primary" sexual attraction is pretty overrated, at last for myself - regardless of whichever sex I'm physically attracted to at a given time, that's very quickly trumped by the immediacy of the situation and relationship between those involved.

To summarize - I'm mostly "into" one sex. But that sex tends to depend on the situation.
