I can reprise last weeks muffin-splosion, except the apples are out so I have to use BEARBERRIES* and maybe add some raspberry jam for make glorious QUEEN MUFFAN.

*Also known as "blackberry" to those who use the Imperial measurements, but really, which name is more fitting?

* Haspen (man)hugs Euld, Japa and Dsarker.

NO SAD FOR YOU.

You know, that addition of "man" made a completely neutral statement of care into something wonderfully homoerotic. I know picture Haspen hugging you guys with a severe but unfortunately timed case of the boners.

Haspen believes very strongly in the raw positive power of his, ehr, pole.

I... wow. Don't want to intrude on the manhugs here.

* Reudh doffs his hat and walks off whistling.

Anyway, my sad of the day is that I may or may not have missed out on a date by less than 30 seconds. "Let's get some chips together and write on each other's arms at Flinders Street Station under the clocks!"

Cue sprinting to the station and witnessing the train leave. :(

Finally stepped under the shower, ready for relaxing, near-scalding bliss. Aahh, lovely.
I'm just starting to relax, letting my mind wander(I generally do my best deep thinking in the shower), when I think, "Hmm, this isn't quite as hot as it should be." I reach back and turn the hot tap up. Ahh, that's better.
So I'm just starting to relax again when I realise the temperature is once again dropping, so I turn down the cold tap and turn up the hot one. Nothing. I can only stare at the shower wall in dismay as the water rapidly drops to lukewarm, even with the cold turned off and the hot turned to max. Damnit. Apparently someone else had a shower before me.

So I turn it off, lacking the warm, sleepy happiness of a good shower and being cold, tired and hypersensitive to the underlying lameness of existence, instead. :( Things are just going downhill from there.

Ah crap, stupid cell phone auto-correct, it was meant to say "ehr", not "she", and I only even put the hesitation there to make my Poland-pun more obvious. Now I feel stupid.

Not as stupid as I felt when it changed my last name to "von Potato" in a mail to my university teacher a week ago, though, but still stupid.

Ain't not!

As in Darwin's Finches, evolution is always going on. It's just not that obvious to the human eye.

Also, I think human evolution is good as suspended. Have you seen many people killed off because they weren't fit to their environment? Thanks to technology, even the most unhealthy specimens of human pass their genes on more often than not.

We tried, and almost succeeded, but together the Oranples developed Weapons of Deep Frietation. The resulting massacre was beyond terrible but very tasty

I can make a mean chicken-and-yam shepherds pie.

And bacon-wrapped, maple+brown sugar glazed sausage!

I think that we are still growing taller on average as a species, aren't we?

I'm so stressed out, and I haven't even started on my assignment yet. I feel so damn worthless and pointless. Can't fucking take this.
