I can't fucking cope, I need to meditate or shag a girl or something. Something to release stress. Anyone for paintball?
I don't know whether I should be laughing, crying or wondering how you manage to get through that o_o

Algebra. Oh why?! I can never get your concepts (most definitely due to a lack of knowledge of pre-requisite concepts).

Simple algebra is all about applying the right formula, using a little logic and adding two and two together. But no, I just happen to know nothing about the purposes and uses of the formulas. D:

Oh, and the fact that even if I happen to have access to lots of luxuries near me, but still keep whining about things just saddens me, as I'm pretty much unthankful to whatever cosmic entity exists out there.

...Maybe in September, if I come down to Melb? :-\ That's about as much help as I can give, I'm afraid.

Wikipedia is down. How can I ever survive this?

Not seeing my Special:Random homepage load was pretty horrible. There've already been like 4 things I've wanted to look up.

Thanks anyway, Yoink. Hopefully by the time I wake up tomorrow I'm in a better mood. The tremendous catharsis from writing that has calmed me somewhat.

I'm sad because I found the perfect apartment. Near Kensington and shopping, right in front of a streetcar, 490 inc. Hydro and Internet, basically the best place I could want (I haven't seen it yet but, because of the following, that's a moot point.)

I can't take it. Because my school is in Mississauga, and I don't have a stable job just yet. :/ And...

Basically it's the worst. STOP TEASING ME, LIFE. CAN YOU WAIT A FUCKING YEAR OR TWO BEFORE YOU WAFT THAT UNDER MY NOSE?!

There was no apocalypse game this time around in my monthly training. Training this time around was really, really boring and I didn't even learn anything.

*sigh* I think I'm going to have to switch out my anti-virus software, Avast! is just being way too annoying to deal with. Anybody got any recommendations for something that's preferably free?

Paranormal Activity was a very disappointing movie.

There was exactly one legitimately scary scene. It was the last scene. I was pumped that the movie was actually starting to scare me, then it ended.

Continuing on with my rant:

1. It's now Tuesday and despite promising to ring me regarding work, they haven't. It's 5:40 pm. No ring. I assume their recruitment is closed for the day. I guess that means I didn't get it. Grrr.

2. Right, so, in Victoria we have a ticketing system for public transport called Myki. It's broken, flawed, scammy and overall pretty bad.

So I got to my home station and attempted to top up my Myki but putting $15 in the machine. It accepted the $5 note, ate the $10 note and then refused to top my Myki up. I clicked cancel. Refused to give me my money back. Smarmy ass staff member came out and said unhelpful things, stupidly assuming i'd used EFTPOS. I hadn't, I said about six times I used cash. she said ring Myki's PTV thingy and use the reference number.

I ring Myki. Get told this number no longer exists and I'm being redirected to the Public Transport Victoria phone. Get told that i have to be transferred. Get this "myki specialist" who is very disinterested with my plight. Tell him my plight. He disinterestedly seems to not understand a few times even though i'm quite clear.

Fuming, I attempt to tell him again, when the phone cuts off. Not sure whether it was Myki's call centres shutting for the day (it had just gone 5:00pm) or Telstra cutting me off for running out of credit (no other phone company in australia does that).

Now short of begging my already cash strapped parents for more money, I have NO means of getting to uni on Thursday and Friday.

3. Girl who invited me to "help moisturise her body" was just joking apparently. I equated it with the bitches in highschool who used to say stuff to me like "Hey <reudh> want to have sex with me / be my boyfriend / kiss me?" before abruptly saying foul things like "just kidding <reudh>, no one would want to have sex with you / be your girlfriend / kiss you, you're a fucking ugly loser who'll die alone."
Naturally she got the huff.

Reudh you really sound you could dispense a few punches, not at anyone particular, just y'know vent some of that stuff out. Because really, Australia seems like one heck of a trolly place.

In other news, couldn't really sleep much, if I covered myself I would sweat my heart out, if I opened the door the draft would kill me. And now I have a sore troath with gunk coming out of it regularly, getting hard to both breathe and eat now, and it's really annoying because this is somewhat impairing my ability to study properly, something that I've finally started doing :I

I used to do martial arts (shukokai style Karate), then later I took up acting. Don't have either at the moment, though my Uni has a judo club.

Australia in seems pretty bad for public transport, until a few years ago we (in Adelaide) had trams made 50 years ago (and designed another 10 years before that). Of course, there was only a single tram route but it also happened to run through the busiest street in my neighborhood, and they were incredibly noisy. As it is now, I can only really complain about the buses sometimes not going where they claim to (ie, a G10 says it will turn into a 300 in a few stops, and then proceeds to not do so) and sometimes being late. It does help that I only really use a route that has frequent buses on it, I suppose. Apparently we're going to get an electronic ticket payment system thing soonish, so no doubt when that actually comes around it will break every five minutes.

Just informed that my best friend's wife hung herself.  She's not dead, but the doctor said he's never seen anyone with this much brain damage pull through before.  Most difficult phone call ever.  I didn't know what to say.  He needs me there right now, but he lives several hours away.  I don't know if I'll be able to go see him...
