Decided to check out Conservapedia again. Its just so terrible, however in their defense, much of what is written there is put there by trolls. But it isn't saying much since you can't even tell what is written by a troll and what real contributors write.

Reading it, I don't think they are even pretending to still be a wiki in any article that is even slightly controversial. Sigh, people believe this stuff apparently.

You basically have to be a troll in order to not get banned.  Any genuine contributor would get banned after they disagree with the admin on any issue.

No, you just have to be an insane fundamentalist libertarian far right christian, who do make up a fair percentage of the the people on the site.

I can never seem to find a B12 D&D game before all the places are taken :(
I love running D&D games, but I'm terrible at writing adventures. Everyone I've GM'd for has told me I'm the best they've had (out of two or three; still praise). But my creativity is next to zero. So, sorry there's not another B12 D&D game going.

Wait, I see a D&D game that says "now recruiting" on the 1st page. I'm not familiar with the FGRP board, but doesn't that mean they have spots open?
given how it's 130 pages long, I doubt it's starting anew.
That would likely be mine. It is mid-campaign, but players drop in and out all the time.
Well... four players drop in and out. The rest are fairly well gone, but we could use some fresh meat. I mean, we bearly (pun intended) cover the four primary archetypes, which we all know consist of Warshaper/Bear Warrior, Telekinesis-Flavored Mage, Genderbending Bard, and Disco Cleric.

We're between major missions, if that makes you feel better. Heck, we're even in the largest city in the realm, and possibly the world. I'm sure there's plenty of places we could dig up another character.

who just so happens to be level 15-ish.

I want to start in DnD one of these days.

Does this forum run any online entry-level DnD games?

Not that I know of... most of the ones right now are very much underway, and Shoruke's low-level one is sorta on hiatus because Shoruke is MIA.

Apart from those, I'd think there'd be enough interest if someone was willing to DM. I would, but I'm already running one in meatspace, and it takes up most of my creative time. If there were someone willing to do the creative parts, I'd be willing to join the game to mentor them somewhat if needed. (Say, if they were new to DM'ing.)

Wait, you couldn't just do it text-wise? That's the usual method, right? ???

While I'd rather not get into why exactly this is the right thread for this: How would one go about finding job openings for an amateur writer? Pretty much of any kind really, anything from data entry to actual writing. (online ones vastly preferred)

Maybe not a definite answer to your question, but it might be of some use to you(also, it's brilliant):

Maptool seems to be the preferred online D&D platform, so I don't think Skype or IRC would really be needed. (It comes with a map board and a chatbox; even if you don't use the other features it's still fairly good.
