Main reason I didn't get SC2.  Even at my most agressive I am apperantly extremely turtley.  I could never play online against anyone but freinds without getting completely destroyed.

It was me and 2 others that liked the idea of a sensibly built base instead of 10000 clicks a second insanity and 5 minute long games, but we also had one friend that was one of those 'good' players.

For the lulz we did one match where it was 3 of us vs him.  The match probably lasted 10 minutes.  We were destroyed.  He had an army of zerglings on me before I had any of those basic protoss melee units.  And the others, both terran didn't fare much better.

It's like these people are robots, with cybernetic clicking fingers, capable of clicking at the speed of sound.

it works in real life (and DF) but the problem is, games are designed to kill off turtlers. most anyways.

I don't play starcraft, but I do play Dawn of War, and I'm a very aggressive player in there.

I think I tell people too much upfront about their cases. They get scared and look for a "second opinion." This, of course, means going to a different lawyer who WILL lie to them or withhold information.

Its like people seem to prefer the bait and switch. I get people wanting a dissolution because it's cheap. They don't wanna hear that if they argue they're screwed. So it appears other lawyers say "we'll deal with that if it comes up." They know damn good and well that a divorcing couple is gonna fight. [shrugs].

I dunno. I"m thinking of focusing what little spare time I have on more "virtual space" using DF and stonesense. The whole arguing thing is just tiring.
Tis a life of a specialist, you gotta put it bluntly to these people that you way is the best you can get in the field and don't stand down on your price. I had meetings with my boss on our B2B sales, the guy charges a shitton for our services and equipment but we don't use shitty parts in our servers and we are available 24/7 (we stayed up all night putting up servers, hes got a record for 3 days straight O_o). We got people that grudged up against us since we charged so much plus our time to put up the system is really long. but you know what? we get all of your programs, files, and settings transferred for the new system up and running. those other guys that can do it in 4 hours, wouldn't even bother and charge you extra to get that running. IT mothas

Spoiler: Depression again. (click to show/hide)

It all amounts to ramblings that please me. Feel good, better, to write them; type them. Maybe all it comes to is that I've been reading Neuromancer lately and it's been messing with me.

I don't understand what you mean by this.

By the way, do note that my post was more a stream of thoughts condensed into type than my personal beliefs. Which is why it was in spoiler tags; don't take it too seriously, I suppose.
