Oh right, it's two degrees below Satan outside.

The dude's usually portrayed as wreathed in fire, yet he'd probably say "above" if he were exaggerating it being hot rather than cold. The mind boggles.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Perhaps Satan, as portrayed by Dante?

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Two degrees below dante's Satan would probably be the seven circle, though, which apparently is more hot than anything. At least if you're going by numerology, anyway. Sorta.

So, uh. Dunno.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Find used copy? Also mebbe ask teacher if there'll be a reserve copy somewhere (likely library)... depending on the subject and what's in the textbook, you might be able to get by without buy any book at all, just have to spend some time reading on campus. Which is probably worth hunnard-fiddy or so bucks.

Well...the more obscure the language, the fewer resources there are out there for it. And the more expensive they are.

Possibly... possibly. Googling was having an easier time finding possibly illicit ebooks (and audio files!) of that thing than an actual physical copy.

It is entirely more likely both the publisher and the book retailer selling that particular 'unnard-fiddy monstrosity are jacking the price up, though. They do that, to an unholy and disgusting degree ::)

Today was not a good day. I had quite a bunch of low scores, had to head home to pick up a bunch of books I forgot, was late and unable to acquire a few points for a certain assignment, did not do good on math and generally made a fool out of myself.

Fortunately, dinner was quite good, but it doesn't quite outweigh the negatives; only padding it.

Its...
1. The last meet the team video
2. The announcement of source film maker
3. A major update for the pyro, the class that valve seems to hate most.
4. Hyped ALOT by the ARG that came before it. (valve knows how to do marketting, damn!)
