Quickly, to the Somalia Cave! She can't argue with law if there is no law!

Left some clothes ( a few undershirts, my beach towel and some socks) to soak in a mix of detergent and fabric softener overnight, because our washing machine is broken and the landlord despite living a floor under us hasn't come over to check it out for a week now (he's retired so he can't say he was busy with work or something). This morning I find the water blue and all the undershirts aswell, damn towel isn't as good as I thought it would be, I also now lack any undershirts that are clean and white at the same time :(

A friend told me something that makes me feel both very sad for them and very angry. It explains a lot about their behaviour.

So the good news is that I got my laptop to run (although badly).
The bad news is that it involved using Safe Mode, a method so simple that I am porderline demented for taking two months to realize.
The good news is that this brainlessness might have saved me from a concussion.
The bad news is that I am deprived of the internet and had to keep myself running on sweets and soda entirely. 24 cans of orangina in the last two days alone :V
The good news that I now have internet.
The bad news is that I now have a shitton to catch up on and I don't have the time because I have to study.
The good news is that I don't give a damn.
The bad news is that I have to get this thing repaired eventually and I'll be out of internet then.
The good news is... uh... I ran out of good news. Fuck.

The real bad news is that your posts are down below 40 a day. Such heralds the End of the World! Quickly, start writing, because should you ever fall below 30 surely the Armageddon would be upon us!

Also welcome back, Darvi. We've missed you.

I've been "back" for over a dozen times over the last hour. Mostly because I keep standing up and running through the house like a ferret with ADHD on caffeine.

No internet at home because we can't afford, which I rarely leave. Only able to access it because i'm in a place with wifi that I probably won't be here for another week.
Internet is my life.

I visited the house I lived in when I was 5 or 6, it was in a terrible state of disrepair. And the whole neighborhood went to shit. I remember hearing the bubble of yard fountains and the glint of stain glass when my mom and I walked through the neighborhood. Now its all rotten houses and broken concrete.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
