There were a couple of drunkards involved. They'd had a little too much godvodka.

Massively spiked honey, not divine potato alcohol. Probably some form of godly rum bread too, whatever the hell ambrosia is. Gods being gods, some form of intoxicant is almost certainly involved.

I'm gonna go make a Forum game - "You are on the God Committee for the Creation of a Quality Earth. What did you create/corrupt?"

Happy: A big storm is coming in, with lots of rain and thunder.

Sad: Family dog is terrified of loud booms, and currently cowering under my desk :(

I wonder if I'm actually making a difference in how the world — or even this board — is working. O_o

Random thought.

Edit: A friend of mine is being bullied, very much, and I don't have clases with her so I can't help in day-to-day life. I was thinking of my inability.. T_T
She's getting counselling next week, and I agreed to go with her, though. At least Ican do that.

Ouch. Bullying is bad mojo. Hope you find a solution that doesn't involve punching the bully's lights out (but don't be afraid to resort to that if absolutely necessary).

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Speaking from experience, the absolute worst thing to do is to ignore the bully. I don't know how much crap I went through because of the advice of supposed experts, but I would never recommend it to someone unless the bully is obviously not very invested in being an asshole. Good luck with helping your friend out-sometimes, just having a friend who genuinely cares can help.

Ignoring them only works if they can't touch you (which is why it works against internet trolls). It's a bit difficult to ignore a punch or attempts at humiliating you.

Bullies thrive on audience. They're the performers and you're the butt monkey they make fun of. Remove the audience, or get it on your side (with the aforementioned group of friends), and you win.

Ignoring real life bullies (not internet trolls) is like ignoring cancer. You'd eventually pay for it.

So, it's better to take action sooner than later.

Think that's bad? When I was a freshmen, one of the seniors got a huge kick out of homosexually harassing the underclassmen. Take it to the administrator, and her suggestion? Play along, it will creep him out.
