There's a transcript reachable... somewhere in the article. Links to another page with full text.

E: Having read, it's not exactly what I'd call politically charged, personally, but given the political dialogue in the states right now...

Anyway, I'll spoiler the most direct overt political statement made, the rest of it being economic statements.

Cant sleep, work tomorrow.

Sleeping badly lately. In general.

I'd really like to sleep properly without resorting to stuffs, but I'm not being too successful, despite long work hours :-(

It's odd because atm I'm not even stressed

Dog brought home a long dead turtle, pretty much a shell and maggots. Uh. That's pretty fucking bad. I don't know why he would do that.

I read it too, and agree with your assessment.  He didn't say anything very partisan or even controversial in my opinion.  He said stuff that wealthy business leaders, a crowd TED has lots of connections with, don't want to hear.

Makes me sad, because I thought the people behind the organization were more mature than that.

It's important to understand the vast majority of TED talks never get put on the website. TED has to maintain it's exclusivity. This one wasn't shown, not because of it's content, but simply because it was rather mediocre. For some reason, the speaker decided the raise a fuss, and that's basically all there is to the story.

I've gained 17 pounds recently :/  That really, really sucks.  I did hardcore cardio and weight lifting a while back to keep those pounds off... I had no idea they could spring back so fast.  Now I have no gym to work in and the neighborhood I live in now doesn't believe in sidewalks ._.

Why not catch public transport to a local park once or twice a week and walk around it multiple times?

Then why the bullshit from the curators about it being too partisan?  The only conceivable explanation I can come up with is they didn't want to tell the guy his speech was mediocre.

I haven't had access to the Internet in the past few days. I'm only able to access the internet now by sapping someone else's WiFi.

It sucks.

Oh, and the main computer's broken. D: That means I can't play the newest version of DF2012, because my substitutes suck.

I'm glad. Definitely an idea worth spreading. Hopefully the whole ordeal helped build even more awareness for it in the end.

I don't see why it being too partisan can't be one of the reasons it was mediocre.
