My home state's constitutionally defined marriage between a man and a woman for about ten years now. I sort of thought we'd made some progress since then.

Welp.

Dog died.

I suppose I should be going to sleep now, since I'll be burring a box in the morning.

My mother made me question the existence of Australia, and now I am having a little epistemological crisis.

Quick, we need to send him some snakes to prove we actually exist!

Beat him over the head with a wombat. That'll drive it in. Or give him brain damage.

Been reading the Watchmen comic book. About 80% through. It's good, and I'll finish it, but...

The only characters I like more than I hate are minor characters. It's telling when I have more sympathy for a random newsstand guy who serves as exposition than I do for any of the main characters.

I'll need some thing cheery to read/watch after this. Maybe that MLP marathon I've been planning for this summer...

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Gosh, I feel sick, in the sense that I can't eat too much even when I'm hungry. Just had dinner today, and I can't even stomach Tuna (one of my favorites) for long. I haven't puked though, although I've come close to it (burping makes me feel nauseous). Was never like this before, and I don't feel full, even if I felt full just a couple of minutes ago.

Need to see a doctor, if I can afford it.

Wow, I think it's silly how some countries don't have government funded healthcare. Here, so long as I have my card, I only have to pay a small amount which gets sent back to me anyway.

Though, conversely, (Assuming, you, New Guy, are American, which I probably shouldn't assume), your housing is vastly, vastly cheaper than Australian housing.

Healthcare is never free. I think that's an important tidbit to remember.
