Have you considered editing out the names? I don't care about these people, I'd hope they don't want people knowing who they are.

I have no idea how to teach the clerk to do basic payables accounting/ balance a checkbook.

Much as I don't like her for being a spoiled rich kid, I try not to get people fired when avoidable....

{Edit} God damn it.... Judge gave me homework. Really? Really Judge? I don't look busy enough to you? They changed the damn servicemembers civil relief act affidavit requirements, maybe? You don't know your honor, so basically I gotta figure it out. You're not even sure if the law has changed and neither are the other lawyers who come before you? So naturally this is now my job...?

Why? Why don't you get one of the other attorneys at the bigger firms who have way more resources and pay than I ever will to figure this crap out? Really? You know I can't bill for this right?

For my part, I try not to help people stay employed when their skillset is utterly incapable of performing their job function. A paper-pusher who can't push paper?
And meanwhile there's probably some very nice person out there who can balance books and push paper LIKE A BOSS, and is flipping burgers or working the cash register at the Piggly Wiggly because they can't find a decent clerk/accountant/admin asst job. Because they're all filled, many by people who can't do the job half as well.

IMHO, this kind of "job/skill mismatch" is the #1 obstacle to economic productivity in this country. Too many people who don't know how to do their job even remotely well but are hanging on, and too many people who do know how but can't find a job to match their skills.

I'm a fairly Darwinian person when it comes to employment. I've always said I should never be in management, because I'd be constantly what I perceive as "dead weight".

Freaking pants.

Why are they so uncomfortable?

Why do people wear them?

Fuck if I know. I'd wear a kilt every day if they weren't like... 300 dollars per.

Cause society wouldn't function if we were all eyeing each others' junk all day.  :P

Personally, I've always preferred pants to shorts. I have enough leg hair that a light breeze makes my brain think there are a thousand ants crawling on me.  :-X

Kilts sound easy as fuck to tailor.

Cause society wouldn't function if we were all eyeing each others' junk all day.  :P

There are other, more comfortable, ways to prevent that.

It's not really the tailoring that's the difficulty, but that does go in to it. It's the material, i.e. how little of it is made, and how often (i.e. not all that often) people buy kilts.

'S a shame, really.
