Maybe you're right. I guess that keeping tabs on the manager of several rented apts is easier than in some other kind of business, too. Still, I don't know. I can see reasons why they would want to cash it in for whatever it was worth and avoid further complications. (On the other hand, one would expect them to wait a couple of years to see if the real state business recovers a bit)

Google Play. Everything Google does makes me more and more concerned.

What is this anyway?

Looks like an Android version of iTunes. Not exactly worrying.

It's an electronic store, like iTunes, that started sometime within the last few hours. It seems to have games, e-books, music, and movies for sale and download. Google concerns me with its attempted (and generally at least somewhat successful) takeover of many services, but that's just my view.

iTunes has the exact same crap and they had the market far more cornered not even 10 years ago. Quit being so paranoid.

Wow, I was online just as it came on. There wasn't play, and now there is.

Didn't notice it at that time.

But Google has EVERYTHING. I'm not really paranoid, or actually worried about this, it's just something interesting to think about. I see Google as a possible end of the world.

Google has a very good public face.

They're essentially Buy And Large: Our very best friend.

Do you really not see the disconnect there?

Google will be a possible end of the world when ending the world becomes a profitable venture.

You're just being misled by Google's impeccable PR. It blinds you to the truth.
