Then you haven't lived in the countryside for long enough.

My high school was built next to the town dump, and had no cooling system.

Meaning on hot days, we needed to keep the window open.

Next to that, manure fields are a pleasure.

Manure.
You know the old saying, "March manure makes April verdure."

Okay, that's not actually a saying. But it totally should be. It rhymes and it uses big, obscure words!  :D

My elementary and high school were surrounded by miles of dairy pastures. Which meant on a hot August day on the bus, you had two choices: roast or hold your breath for the five minutes or so it took to get past the pastures. Or, y'know...most of us kids lived out that way anyhow, so you get used to it after a while.

Grubworms, IN MY TROUSERS

[wasn't wearing them so, not many complaints beyond, you know, having a bag full of grubworms in your pants]

Then you haven't lived in the countryside for long enough.

I've lived the in different countrysides next to different manured fields my whole life.

Also - my family's summer house lies next to a military base, and our dock on the other side of an inlet from it. I have as a child had to suffer through tear gas drifting over to our side when they were playing war. So I know what I'm talking about when I say that really, this is much, much worse. Well, maybe not. But even though I was exaggerating in above posts it still destroys any pleasure to be had from being outside and gives me headaches.

But I'm going to get my revenge. Tonight, I'll sneak onto their land and take a dump at their lawn, and we'll see how much they like it when I stink up their place!

*Imagines a secret council known as the "Forum Five"*

I was just wondering, does anyone know of schedule keeping software? Like, something that'll get on my ass about keeping the schedule, rather than just some lame calendar with a note keeping function. I don't know what to do with myself.

I just feel like everything I do has no meaning. I could try self-improvement, but staying on task and staying interested is it's own set of skills. Looking for a job is depressingly hard, especially since it means the end result is making myself subservient to a society that I loathe. My feelings are worthless and contradictory, so there's no point in cultivating them.

It feels like my insides are heavy, like, with weights on the inside. This feels different than ordinary lethargy.

Who's the forum five?
There is no forum five fool! Any talk of them is merely made up rumors to entertain the masses.
