So the Dutch Queen's visiting the uni tomorrow.

I am seriously contemplating skipping class.

Y'know that I don't mesh well with authorities.

I'd rather get out of the way than get in trouble.

Even if you hate authorities, you can get a better feel for the person, and maybe find more reasons to loath her (if that's what you're going for). Besides, it's something you'll remember; a person of some fame you saw. You don't have to like them for it to be memorable.

I don't, y'know, actually hate them, or any more than humanity in general at least.

It's not that I actually meet her in person or anything. I just don't want to get any attention whatsoever.

Eh, skip it. As a staunch anti-monarchist I'm tempted to convince you to go all LCS on the Queen, but let's try to keep this civil.

Spring is coming, sadness. Bastard child that's too cold and wet to be summer and too hot and dry to be autumn or winter.

If I decided to be an anti-monarchist activist, I'd work against our own sovereign first :V

On a different subject, why do the last drops from a bottle of ice tea always taste like shit? It makes me wanna buy a thermos can just so I can bring some actual brew with me.

I'm not antimonarchist - what power do the monarchy have in most countries these days? They're little more than figureheads.

Thank goodness royal institutions cost zero tax income that could be used for social welfare or what have you. No wait.

But this is neither the time nor the place for this discussion.

This. I was going to say "See if she has any available daughters, preferably ones locked in a tower and guarded by a dragon" but apparently the Dutch royal family has no princesses of the blood.

The sun is shining, it's springy warm and there's just the right amount of breeze. Why in the Sad thread?

Because the farmers decided to dump innumerable amounts of biological weapons on their fields.

You mean those cordyceps-based insecticides?

I'd think that's less deleterious than conventional ones
