After being so fucking good I destroyed one of their puny tests, they decided I was over qualified and didn't want me for fear I would jump ship as soon as a better job came along.

Well, that's a kick in the teeth.  Not to mention, what kind of cruelty is it to get all the applicants into one room and have them test against each other?  Why not just hand each of your a shiv, it'd be about as demeaning.

Eh, they wanted the fastest typist (I was that too, going from the test that we did using Word) so they needed an easy way to test that. Apparently they would prefer somebody who isn't as qualified that will get nowhere in life, thus sit at the desk forever, rather than somebody over qualified who they know will move on some day.

That's why people tone down their qualifications when they're applying for low-tier jobs. Employment managers tend to (rightfully) assume that when doctors, lawyers, and engineers apply to be a waiter, they intend to jump ship as soon as a job on their field pops up

Yea... That sounds like a good idea right about now.
Looking online, and there is a job offering minimum 30 hours a week at donut king. I could build their point of sales system, I figure I could work one... Time to de-pad my resume!

How is Swedish ice cream special? I'm not sure I want anything Swedish at all actually. Don't you know? They chew tobacco and eat rotten fish!

Hey now, eating rotten fish is good for the environment! And you're really not supposed to chew snuff. But then again, I guess you just can't trust a Dane to be able to put something in his mouth without trying to eat it. And yes, Descan, consider that a word of advice and a warning ;)

Also it's special because unlike Danish ice-cream, it isn't made from porkfat.

Urrrgh....think I'm in the early stages of the flu. Sore as hell all over, sinuses puffed up like a flotation device, mild fever.

As a non-kobold, I cannot eat rotten fish. Fish isn't my favorite as it is. Bleh.

Nothing can excuse the rotten fish. Nothing. About snuff, I know you're not supposed to chew it, just put it under your lips, but god damn it is nasty. >_< In general, I dislike anything tobacco though.

I'll let you know I'm having no such troubles, unless it's really taste.

Not really. I just prefer my meat fresh, and able to fight back.

That's because it's hilarious! Also, I'm really not all that big. In fact, I'm very, very short.
