I don't know, I don't want to be critical of anybody in such a situation, but I never understood the leaving a note thing. It just sort of seems that you will be dead, there is nothing you can write on a note that will affect your existence there after. The entire point of the exercise is to cut off all these troubles, so why is your last act to try to attend to some more than you are causing?

That has just been my outlook on it, at least...

Suicide, especially among the young, is often used as a particularly nasty "look what you made me do" weapon. In those cases, a note ensures that the message is recieved. In other cases, it would serve the purpose of making sure that people who are not responsible don't beat themselves up in an attempt to fidure out what they could have done to cause such a thing,

I meant on people, not really living.

Thanks for clarifying that at least.  That was a little scary.
Was it? I didn't really think it was a suicide thing, just an exasperation thing.
No way of knowing when the person you are concerned about logs off other channels of communication. It's good to hear the issue was somewhat resolved.

I tried not to scare myself with this. Janet said she isn't the kind of person to do that anymore, so I believe her.
Yeah, I didn't think it was an e-suicide note or anything, it's just that when someone gives an exasperated message then disappears, the mind assumes bad things.  I know Janet fairly well, and I know problems like to follow her, so I was worried.
I'm aware Janet has had a troubled history, but you know, I actually have quite a lot of faith in her.

In other news I've been trying to do some writing. I've gotten as far as:

It was a small room.

I just can't figure out how to phrase the first few paragraphs.

It was a small room.
Small, in every sense of the word. Not only was it some what cramped, but it held no aspiration. Nobody would ever look at this room with hope, and think of the future, they would simply find a corner to sit, and wait, and hope that things would change for them. It was the kind of room that suffocates you, very slowly, starting with the most important parts, the parts that make you human. It was a small room, because that is how it made you feel, and there was no escaping it.

"The last man alive sat in a room.  There was a knock on the door."

"When James awoke, the dinosaur was still there."

^ I did not write these, but they are amazing.

"When James awoke, the dinosaur was still there."
When James awoke, the dinosaur was still there.
It sat, perched neatly on his end table next to his bed. The small, dark, winged raptor look at him, and crooked it's head.
"So you're still here then?", he asked his feathered visitor, as he rubbed his tired eyes, "I would have thought you would fly away by now."

"How could I fly away?" croaked the living fossil. "There is no window, dung-for-brains."

"Oh shit!", exclaimed James, "It talks!"
James drew his BIRD SEEKING ROCKET LANCHER and fired at the profanity spewing avian!

Eh, the point was that they're complete stories in one line.

Yeah... I should probably go do something else, but I'm trying to enjoy what will likely be my last evening here =/

The missile landed on the bedspread and fizzled. The raptor laughed disparagingly.
"And I thought I had a walnut-sized brain. I am not a bird, mammal, I am what you term a dinosaur."

We're not playing anymore? Darn.

Vector has been lynched!

Vector was Crossdressing and Geriatric Solid Snake's Fantastic Thighs (town).
It's a little bit late for that I'm afraid.
