Yay, FL Studio decided to f**k me up big time. A VSTI of mine decides to lag itself behind and sometimes holds notes despite ending in a staccato.

Either I brute-force this and hope I get a clean copy of the music I'm making, or find another VSTI replacement for it, or figure out how to make the same instrument using FL Studio's packed-in instruments and stuff.

D:
Print the notes you want from the VST to an audio track and use that in its place. (The most effective way to print that I've found is to mute everything else, and export the song to wav. Bypassing effects should free up enough space to not have as much lag)

Everything has made me sadish.

Actuallty, I'm feeling all the emotions at once, and its really incredibly disorienting. I feel like I'm going crazy - like I'm at war with my own mind.

Already did this, although honestly, didn't really make another file/start a new session to do that. I plan to do this tomorrow, since my head is full of anger and s**tty feelings right now.

Someone I know, recently started learning programming last Sept, and is already making decent proof-of-concept apps.

While I sit here, with fully completed web apps I don't release to the public yet because I don't think they're "done" yet. We're talking like 30hrs to go, and some really cool things could be released. It is SO HARD getting time to do this right now.

You could try not sleeping? Its what I did when I was working my way through college and publishing web apps on the side.

Note that I am not serious. Failure to sleep for a week can be fatal.

Ugh, I feel astoundingly shitty.  I don't know why... diet, dehydration, whatever, but my mouth tastes like a beaver died in there.  Also, I'm exhausted.

Not likely, mostly because you can't, in normal circumstances (microsleeps begin to take place).

I just realized that a day will come when Hitler is better known for ranting about things than for being a genocidal maniac. Now, I realize that reductio ad Hitlerum is going to make this take a long time, but that a logical fallacy is preserving a bit of history in the common memory is a bit depressing. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

You make a good point. Napoleon was considered one step away from the Antichrist by his contemporaries, and now he's just a funny short guy with one hand stuck inside his coat.

I think I've given up on therapy, it just seems to be drudging up a bunch of emotions I can't deal with right now.

My therapist told me that since I felt it wasn't accomplishing anything she'd get back in touch with me after this personality test I filled out came through.

She's very empirical, and seems to feel that the answer to the test will give her great insights, given that I was ambiguous about half the answers I put down I find that hard to believe.

Also, what kind of insights does the question "I have been on the cover of several magazines this year T/F" give? There are only three reasons I can think of for answering true on that one.
1. You're Robert Downey, Jr.
2. You're not taking this test seriously at all.
3. We need to up your medication again.

Hitler isn't going to be forgotten any time soon. Maybe given a couple hundred years his crimes may begin to fade from common memory. But I doubt his legacy will be trumped by anyone any time soon.

Anonymous is fucking with my shit today. Some of DOJ's public-facing sites are getting spammed by TCP requests from Warner Brothers' server.

I'd say "Well played", except I don't like being played.
