Happens. I, for one, haven't eaten a thing either. (Drinking, on the other hand, plenty)

Yeah going most the day before remembering to eat is pretty normal for me.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I'm beginning to think I have latent anger issues when it comes to any kind of contest. No more warring for me.

Or soccer,
Or football.

I gots no idea what a term in this contract means and it seems important. There is no definition provided or case law, so I'm going to have to make this one up on the fly if they get sued. I will naturally tell the client that beforehand, and client will not really get it. Yes I know what YOU think it means and I just so happen to agree with you. That's not the point. El point is what the judge thinks it means, cause they just might sue you over this.

Not cut and dry, there is a risk and you need to know it, not argue with me about why you think you're right. Yes, it's a good argument, but it ain't water tight. You need to be fully aware of the risks. I'm not saying you're gonna screw up but it's possible and if you must falter, be wise.

Moseys.  I has them pretty bad.

I also have three weeks of vacation and no idea what to do with them.  My previous rush of "let's go draw draw draw!" has been curtailed by feeling sucktacular.  Doesn't help that I think a lot of nicely technical stuff is crap (impressive, but empty--guess it helps that my mom does black-and-white blockprints with little attention to "realistic" proportions), so I'm not exactly raring at the opportunity to spend another three years carefully drawing hands and replicating real life.  That, and this sort of art only makes me think more about math.

I realize that I should probably just be happy that I'm so good at academic subjects and live with it, but the thing is, I like creating things that other people can see and enjoy.  I really have very little interest in creating stuff just to show off how brilliant someone else was, which is really what most of academia turns into.

Anyway, I'm probably completely full of bullshit, but thanks for listening.

Everyone's nice in Canada!

Well not really. But hey, all that means is that you'll still have work!

Quick brain, think of something completely absurd!

"Ah yes, the after-date acknowledgement is the realm of deceit and manipulation unlike anything else mankind has ever bore witness to. What can be mistaken for a moment's forgetfulness is actually indicative of an aptitude for scheming and deviation that will, one day, be wholly responsible for society's collapse. If his lack of acknowledgement continues for too long, I fear we may actually have a grandmaster puppeteer and wizard of social black magicks on our hands. DANCE Truean! Dance for the delight and whimsy of the human condition!"

I can only hope that my sense of humor isn't too bizarre.

@Vector
Have you considered programming? Programming is basically math and logic brought to life, and it's an art! Don't let anyone ever tell you programming isn't an art.

It's also something mathematicians generally like getting into.

Toady was actually a teacher of mathemancy (I don't think he was a full professor though), then he eventually gave it up to make DF full time. With your head for mathematical equations you could become the best programmer, the BEST.
