I don't see how blowing my nose would help. It's not an itch, it's more like my throat is scratched.

Anyway, tried the brine gargle, and my mom suggested mouthwash so I did that too. Not much improvement so far.

Afaik, it shouldn't be the acidity that does it, but the viscosity of the mix. Hmm...
Is it supposed to be thicker or thinner?

I'm at my dads house.  I'm attempting to sleep on the couch.  In the adjoining dining room is a computer, I can see it from here.  For the last hour someone has been hitting the keys.  In case you're slow on the uptake I'll clarify that no one is there.  I'm kind of freaking the fuck out.

Go check it man, I'm pretty sure it's just an insect or a rat.

Then again, if you're really freaking the f**k out, it might be best to find a blanket, cover yourself with it head to toe, and go to sleep.

Either that, or turn the lights on.

Somehow, I'm feeling down after christmas. Mood's probably shifting to the blues, most likely because of them brain chemicals.

I really hate really having no one that I can talk to even in passing about my increasingly gigantic personal problems.

Because really, no one gives a fuck about me. I say that, and people are happy to chime in with the "advice" of HEY! Why not go see a psychiatrist or something you silly nitwit! But not understanding my complete and utter loathing of the psychiatric field.

Really, it feels like I stew in my problems because I can't fucking imagine living life without them, and if I should just resign myself to a lonely death, still in my early twenties.

Well, to be honest, if you loathe the psychiatric field and have issues, then go see a psychologist. They're much better.

Just remind yourself that deep down, you know that:

A. You are by far the largest living thing in the house. There's nothing normal that could be pressing those keys that would not freak out if it thought you wanted to eat it.

B. Nobody is ever eaten by ghosts. People are willing to claim all sorts of freaky ghost tales all the time, but none of them ever involve actually being hurt in any way.

In short, it doesn't matter what's over there, because you rule Thunderdome. Ignore or inspect at your leisure.

I really hate really having no one that I can talk to even in passing about my increasingly gigantic personal problems.
Well, you could always rant to yourself like a crazy person. Not ideal, but it might be better than nothing.

Nobody is ever eaten by ghosts.

Invisible cannibal elves are a real danger, though, so be careful.

Switching from someone who was used to being walked on, to someone who stands up for themselves cost me so many friends over the last year. (Who, weren't really friends if they only ever wanted me to be support) Everyone is so quick to play the "I'm offended" card when they've wronged me and I call them out on it. (Like backing out of being my Best Man two weeks before the wedding).

The saddest part is I still agonize over it sometimes, missing the people who treated me not well. Mock-arguing with them in my head, about those old arguments, because I can't understand how they could treat me like that.

Multiplayer leveling and perks is the worst thing to happen to non-persistent video games ever.
