I've played it very little over the past several months.  I just haven't had the sort of time and energy necessary to really enjoy it.  It's such an in-depth game.  You need a lot of focus.  Plus, I don't really enjoy it unless I'm writing everything that happens into some sort of narrative.  I treat it like a story generator.

But it's definitely one that I can see myself returning to periodically over many, many years.

Haven't gotten much further than the dwarf-picking screen myself, for at least a few montgs. Now I'm just waiting for the new release. That'll be cool.

I'm pretty sure if Homestuck had people on here trawling through the topic for anything objectionable it'd be banned too. So be careful what you guys wish for. This isn't going anywhere good.

The MSPA thread hasn't gone anywhere close to the levels of depravity that the pony thread got to three times, I think we're safe.

Seriously, There is a category for rape fics, and that category is called banned. is that too hard to understand?

Are people still spreading misinformation about that?  :-\

No one was posting rape fics. No one ever posted porn, either. Please beat the head in of anyone who says otherwise.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

People were merely saying that posting rape fics was completely acceptable and that they'd be categorised in a certain manner.

It was already spelled out to him that it was an off-site database. I dunno how someone can be willfully ignorant like that.

Offsite database or not, it's still seriously fucked up that that's even an option.

And the fact remains that the intention was to make Bay12games a horsepron index page.   ::)

Sorry to say, but I find Toady's objections were justified.

Right, so you'd be linking to/ constantly talking about a page including rape fanfics.  That's clearly ok.

If I had been Toady I would've preemptively banned the ponies.  You could smell the fucked up pornography coming from the beginning.

And are we seriously taking this to the sad thread?  Why won't it die?

I think this is a good point everyone.

And, realizing I have to get over some fears, it makes me unhappy about it, but I know I have to do it.
