Even if it passes, there's little chance it will stand up in court.

I sorta wanna get irresponsibly drunk, but eh. The answer to my problems is not in the bottom of a bottle.

I don't drink, but I do have irresponsible gaming binges.  Though I debate with myself often about how irresponsible it is, when the alternative might be another MRSA infection.

I saw a MRSA pneumonia once

You mean someone who had both at the same time?... must have been an ugly sight.

The thing is, I've had two MRSA infections.  The second was much more resistant than the first.  The first time, it took four days of really strong antibiotics through an IV to beat it, and it began receding pretty quickly after that treatment began.  The second time, they spend a few days trying stronger stuff and more aggressive dosages before finally putting me on the maximum dosage of the strongest targeted antibiotic available, and that only brought the infection to a stand still for four days before it finally began receding.  I don't want to know what the next one would be like.  Probably a lost limb.

Am I the only MLP fan who just likes MLP as it is without any grimdark horror?
I do. Plus I don't get the whole gore thing. I mean is it THAT much fun to vividly describe the brutal mutilation of small colorful horses?

Nawww! I very much enjoyed a Discworld-MLP crossover fanfic that was posted awhile back on the MLP thread.
Let me guess, was it Binky Pie? Pretty sure I was the one who posted that. Really good story.

Yeah, that was the one. Thanks very much. It made my day. :P

You're not the only one. Occasionally, I delve into sad fics, and very rarely, into gory ones, but I like ordinary MLP better.

On topic, yeah, SOPA is kind of silly. I mean, hell, I'm German, I'm used to silly copyright laws (the amount of "lol video not available in your country" I get is rather ridiculous)

Oh. Wow. Yeah, it just dawned on me that the entire Downfall Parody meme kinda passed you guys by. Which is really a shame, because I can think of no other country that could appreciate it in quite the same way.

I think you might be a little confused over the terminology.
MRSA is staph that's resistant to antibiotics, pneumonia is an infection of the lungs, MRSA pneumonia is when resistant staph infects someone's lungs. Staph doesn't usually go for respiratory tract much(which is of course why we have strep to fill that niche), usually it just sticks to infecting wounds and clogged pores. But staph can go for the respiratory system, like all bacteria it's pretty diverse.

Of course we'll keep developing better medicines to combat resistant diseases, so maybe MRSA will be a smaller problem in the future rather than a bigger one. Humanity is pretty good at getting itself ahead of evolution.
...
You know that would make for a good motivational poster.

No, he just had a pneumonia caused by MRSA. Staph neumonia isn't exactly common in people over 12 months, but it happens.

He got off fairly lightly, as treatment was adminned fast.

Ok, I had a good grasp on what MRSA is, but not pneumonia, apparently.

You ever get the feeling you are horribly unworthy to benefit from the effort all the people put in to all the amenities you use around you?

A lot of people pulled off some pretty damn clever shit to do a lot of this junk, and there is no way in hell I could have ever developed half of it.

There's a lot of times I feel like I deserve to be starving in a hole.
