Truean is going to get a happier ending than that.  Trust me.  I know that book better than anyone, and she wouldn't let that happen to her >:I
The movie ends happy though! I think... I honestly don't remember...

Possibly, but I don't recall the opera going well for him.

I rarely get asked to change my days at work because others usually jump at the chance. This week I was asked and have agreed. It means I won't have enough days to swap my hours and wake in the mornings until the weekend after next. Goodbye meagre autumn sun.

The genital thing is actually pretty important.   You don't want it to be so unfamiliar that when you finnally do check, you ask yourself questions like: "Has that always been there?" or "Is that a tumor?" or even worse, someone else might ask, and you won't know what they're talking about.
Kind of embarrassing but now that you've reminded me I feel the need to post. Once when I was very young I noticed something that I hadn't before and it really panicked me. For some reason I felt too ashamed to ask for all of an hour. In the end: Completely normal. Your post really took me back for a second.

Trivia: vulvar tumors are often diagnosed late because the sufferers tend to be ashamed of consulting about it.

I hope that wasn't like reliving a traumatic experiencer, or something.  It sounds like it could be very distressing at the time.
Nothing bad, don't worry. Both the initial panic, the relief, and the odd sense of bonding with my parents were all relived. It mostly made me laugh to remember so vividly how I was then.

Nightmares.

A man, with his entire face blown away/melted off. Something in the damaged eyes begging me. A emaciated woman with a malnourished child in a crowded marketplace. Getting deported from Myanmar. Never before or since have I known such anger.

Feeling like I am never going to get a job. I spent nearly eight hours wandering around shopping centres trying to get work but to no avail so far.

If you are looking for retail level work, check your local gas stations. A gas station clerk is a great easy job, but has high turnover and has moderately good pay compared to most starting retail positions.

Experience, well the job is damn easy, some days are tough as its customers every frickin minute but you do meet people everyday and some got a story to listen. Hell i met my State Representative last meet and we had a nice chat about motorcycles (he drove in with a V-Star).

An hour until my math midterm. I'm looking over this review sheet and I don't even know what to think. I'm tired, I'm hungry and am in no state to take something this important.
