@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I had that haunting feeling about a calculus test right after I turned it in.... and then halfway through the weekend, I realized that I probably forgot to add the +C to all the indefinite integrals.

Edit: No, maybe not. Too bad I still saw it!

Might be for the best, they tend to read waaay too much into just about everything. Seriously, you ask them to open a window because it is hot and you want some air in and they assume you want to commit suicide and jump out. Every little action is a massive physiological flaw to them!
The only tool in their box is a hammer, so everything looks like nails.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
