The more you talk about this the more heinous of stuff I'm assuming you downloaded.

Right now I'm expecting you to have downloaded some... art with models of questionable age. Keep talking and I'll probably assume worse.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

He downloaded evidence of the upper-echelons of several governments being mole-people

There is no such thing as mole-people. We have, however, always been at war with the Dinofolk.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

A guy kept his daughter prisoner for 11 years, forcing her to act mentally ill and/or (the details are a bit hazy) retarded from age 7, just so he could cash in 25000 Crowns (about $3700) a month from the state by acting as her personal assistant. Keeping her from school, and really anything remotely social while at it.

From SVT. It's in Swedish, unfortunately. I should also mention newer articles clarified that the extent of her isolation is not known at the mokent due to the case being classified, just that she didn't get to go to school. On the other hand, that also means we can't know for sure ig anything else went on as well, or why the police would think it was in need of being classified.

Oh, and if anyone is curious, she escaped last year by running away from home.

There is. It's still horrible, though.

My mother has diabetes.

Sorry to hear that Nadaka.  It will take some serious getting used to, and I hope she has solid insurance.  The good news is, she can actually continue to be quite healthy, so long as she's diligent and gets good medical care.

Fortunately she just got on with Oshners Hospital insurance, which is absolutely amazing if you live in New Orleans, but useless anywhere else. It makes almost every medical procedure and prescription cost $5 after medicare as long as she goes to an Oshners affiliated hospital.

A girl who I liked, and thought liked me, turned out to just be a slut.

And now I'm really drunk and trying to forget, and it's just making me feel worse.

WHY IS LIFE SO GODDAMN STUPID!?!

Bleg, Yumi went out for the night.
It's nice that she's out enjoying herself, but I feel so lonely when she's not here.

I... really don't know what the situation is, but it worries me when people get written off as "just being a slut".
Is this a case of "the sex was just sex when I thought it meant more"?

Seeing her as a slut instead of a potential partner may have played a part in that. Besides, who are you to decry someone based upon their sexual behavior? Why can't she have fun if she'd like to? She doesn't need YOUR approval to use HER body.

Nice work turning me being sad into me being angry there.

Also, where did I imply that I saw her as a slut before this?

People can do whatever they want and I won't restrict that, but it doesn't mean I have to like that.
