Hmm.  So there's a conundrum.

The person from whom I found out that the ex was dating again appears to have blocked me on Facebook.  The only possible reasoning I can think of for this is that the ex in question read my post here ("I hope they kill each other"), told the person in question, and she decided to remove me from her little planet.  I'll add that two days ago I gave her a complete list of anime and manga recommendations at her request, but eh.  Whatever.  I honestly hope she enjoys them, if she can.  I was hoping to be more-friends, but I guess the case where I hate one of her friends is a condition for non-friendship, which I can mostly understand.

I don't really know what to say.  I didn't, you know, actually mean it.  In actual hoping sort of way.  It was, as I'm sure anyone can understand, an expression of pique.  Venting.  I'd do it somewhere else, but I don't have anywhere but here.  Maybe in an ideal world where we're all spherical human beings people don't continue being upset about things like this a year and a half after the relationship ends.  That's not the world I live in.  Sorry.

I want to talk to him, but I can't in any way but indirect whisperings.  And now I really can't reach out and make contact, because if he has a relationship I'm not going to make the new girl deal with the crazy ex.

But whatever.  Maybe it's time to go see the school therapist again.

This is how a world ends--not with a bang, but a whimper.

She is indeed a lawyer.
And apparently has done her share of detective work.

Now we await her eventual work as a judge.

I nominate Truean for Judge..uh...osity immediately.

It feels, somehow, like everything in the world has gone terribly wrong.

I can't help but feel bad for trying to help you celebrate in spite of an ex.  But honestly, I gotta say, this sounds like a petty friend if they can't recognize what's going on there.

Yeah, well... I'm more upset because I'm worried that this will make his little brother call everything off, too, which would be too bad.  He's one of my oldest friends.  Tutored him in high school, and stuff.  One of the people I find it easiest to communicate with, to talk to without being misunderstood.  And of course, almost all of my other friends from high school (i.e. basically all the friends I have) are friends with him as well.

On the other hand, we've been getting along poorly for a long time, now, me and my friends.  Maybe this is all for the best.

Still, it is a bit annoying that all of this has been happening two weeks before my second round of exams.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Internet hugs for all and sundry, then I'm going to bed, dreading a maths assessment on Friday.

Inspired by recent content I checked my archives and tomorrow it will officially have been five months to the day since the last friend I had decided to sever all ties with me.

Maybe I should throw a party and invite all my- oh fuck that it's a horrible joke.

Pnx: Congratulations?

It's nearly five years since I saw anyone besides family friends. I even avoid the city and town my college and secondary school are in for fear of bumping into certain people.

Besides this the recurring cold with headache is back. My nose is red raw from all the tissues.

Holy shit, 10/25 is also when the epic MSPA update occurs. It's also when I'm supposed to talk about coming off my meds with my psychiatrist, and when the freak back-to-back appointment with my therapist occurs (which got accidentally scheduled directly after my appointment with my psychiatrist).
Do you think the universe is trying to tell me something?

That Homestuck is awesome enough that you need to explain the plot to both your psychiatrist and threrapist?
