The thing that confuses me about dorfs is this. Dorf 1 dies in an avalance or somesuch. Dorf 2 is friends with dorf 3 and dorf 1. Dorf 2 berserks because of his friends death and kills dorf 3. also a friend. W. T. F.

Damnit, guys, this is the sad thread. Stop making me laugh.

In sad news, I tried to help out my ex (who I am still on very good terms with) with her Algebra/PreCalc homework. It was on logarithms, pretty basic stuff.

And there were a few problems I literally did not know how to do, and she didn't know how to do them either because her teacher and her book are.... bad. I'm in Calculus II, studying to eventually be a mechanical engineer. And these few problems have made me doubt my problem-solving capabilities across the entire gods-damned spectrum. Oh, and having to tell the friend I was trying to help 'sorry, but the early college student can't seem to figure out your homework that's at least 2 grade levels below him' was pretty depressing as well.

I'm sorry to hear about the math thing... If it helps I can no longer do any math at all.

I can see how he's cute actually. Though I get the impression he isn't gay, so I tend to steer clear so as not to piss people off.

My ex boyfriend moved to Minn. state for engineering grad school while I stayed for law school. We tried long distance; it sucked. He later married the now fully transitioned transwoman of his dreams in Canada and has just adopted a child with her.... They are both exceptional people, and honestly wonderful. She's a great person and I respect the hell out of her. There's actually a story there....
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I am happy for them both, truly. However, I can't help thinking that totally could've been me if I didn't go to law school and did follow him.... I am really truly attempting not to be jealous of her and failing.... It has occurred to me that I will have lived nearly 30 years of my life without transitioning soon enough too....

Oh God, It's two in the morning, I'm halfway done a creative writing assignment and I just recently remembered I'm shit at writing.

I then alternately titled my story Fun with a thesaurus because I use big words when I fail at writing something good.

Yeah, see, I'm not in as bad a position as that.  I just hate this guy's guts, but have never been good at just flat-out, full-stop hating someone.  I'm mostly scared of him, I guess.  Scared of him why... ?  I don't quite know.  If I saw him on the street, I'd run the fuck away.

Part of me is really looking forward to going to graduate school somewhere and actually having to settle there.  Right now, I think that would be quite good for me.  Help me move on with life.

Ugh, my fear is making me want to cut my hair again.  I'm not sure this is good for me.

It's dark and cold and I'm tired and I have 5 hours of classes today and I felt like whining vaguely to kill some time before I have to leave.

It is starting to feel like summer here. I hate summer. There are few things I despise more than summer.
And I was loving the warm spring winds, then suddenly BAM DIRE HEAT FOR YOU!!!

Fuck I hate summer.

Meh, It's better than here.

Here you go from frostbite in 5 minutes to sunburn in 5 minutes.

Basically this place makes you question the idea of any loving god who would cover you in skin that freezes in the time it takes to walk more than a handful of blocks.

I hope they kill each other.

Spoken like a true ex.  Just be glad you didn't run into him in person and find out.  You never meet your ex's when you're looking good or doing well.  It's always when you've got a cold and you're wearing dirty sweat pants walking out of a pharmacy with Ointment and a 48 pack of toilet paper or something, that's when you always have to run into the ex and your replacement and their new car or something.

Well the cold part sounds wonderful! Good reason to stay inside with warm coco and books, but the sunburn isn't tempting.

You know how you have to eat eventually? Winter can wait a lot longer than you can. And then he'll fucking cut you.

You're not alone with that summer hate. The sudden increases in heat are making me sad, too.
