Bdthemag, turn off all the lights in your room, including your screen.

then turn on a light outside your room, and open the door

once the bugs have followed the light, lock them out.
I've done that, multiple times. The only logical reason for these flies is that im being hunted down by a dark wizard who can control flies.

That's not logical at all.

More likely you're being pursued by Beelzebub, Lord of the Flies.

It's either that or a really persistent Kung-Fu teacher.

There have been too many people sending me Steam scams lately. Someone I don't know just randomly sent me a link to a phishing site that looks almost exactly like the Steam website, only the url was wrong. Get Modern Warfare 3 free my ass. Does anyone know how I can report these sites?

I want to sleep. I was doing well for a while there, but my insomnia is back with vengeance.
Didn't sleep last night, can't sleep due to being too tired now. I need this sleep, and knowing that is worrying me, and that worrying is causing me to not be able to sleep.
Also, I'm suffering worse and worse mood swings. You would not believe how happy I was not fifteen minutes ago, I just could not stop smiling, and the world was so wonderful, and now I'm relapsing into my depressive pit.
I'm falling apart from stress and worry, and I just know somebody is going to try and get me back on medication, and just knowing that is making me stress and worry.

I just want to curl up into a ball and go to sleep. Why is that too much for me?
Can't sleep, but need to. Can't cry, but want to. Nobody is awake to talk to, not even online. Nothing to do but sit here in the dark and laugh to myself. I must be going insane, and it isn't as nice as you might think.

I don't know if this will work for you, but just lie in bed and let your imagination flow. Don't try and suppress anything, just imagine whatever you want and let it make its progression. It's like a sort of replacement for REM sleep, and while it's not as good as the real thing, you won't be horribly tired when you "wake up."

@Max: I have bad insomnia for days at a time, too. I find it helps a lot for me to listen to music (at a low volume), not even calming music necessarily...even on nights where it doesn't help me sleep, it at least stops me from going insane from boredom.

---------------

Anyways, today is sucking badly, and it's only 10AM. First, I woke up feeling pretty sick, with a bad stomach ache. Secondly, I'm pretty sure my mom has run out of the meds that she takes for depression/anxiety or something like that, and she's in an insanely bad mood today. She keeps freaking out about everything that happens, and some things that haven't. She doesn't listen to anything anyone has to say, instead shouting about how nobody in the house cares about her. It may be horrible of me, but honestly, being in the same room as my mom or brother when they haven't taken the meds they are supposed to puts me in a state of great annoyance, to the point where I will leave and stay at the library all day long. I feel guilty saying that, but I honestly can't stand being around her at times like this.

TL;DR: Some relatives related to the company mom was working for brought evidence. Evidence was crap, as it had a ton of discrepancies here and there. Then they moved to the living room to talk to my grandmother, slandering and defaming our name in the process. I decided to record their conversation. Upon listening to it again, I found something we could use to sue them, but said thing was tainted with the chatter from my grandmom, which they can use as counter-evidence. I then proceded to rage.

I hate this day.

I guess people by default tend to Accentuate the Negative elements in their lives more.

Hm. . Now that I think about it, you're right. The negative things in life do tend to stand out more, don't they? Huh.

That's because they hurt. Snowflakes melt.

Even the happiest person in the world would remember one bad day more than the good ones. Especially the happiest person in the world, in fact.

So maybe the happy thread is really sad because the happy there stands out in the general sadness of people?!? And this thread is actually happy because there glaring spots of sadness stand out in the happiness of people's lives?! Or maybe I'm just a rambling crazyman. Either/or.

You're pushing an idea a little too far.

The sad thread is good because people have a relatively safe place to vent (venting can sometimes be a dangerous proposition, especially when you're talking about other people)

The happy thread is good because people can share and celebrate their joyful moments.
